This last week I designed and set up the website for Garry Clark. It can be found at gcguitar.com. Garry has been playing guitar for years. He plays live with various bands as well as doing studio work and guitar instruction. The website has an online form that can be filled out if anyone is interested in guitar instruction.

Just launched a company called copperslide.com. For a number of years I have used a copper tube as a slide while playing the guitar. I have often thought of doing something with the idea. They have never been brought to market and so I am doing it.
They can be purchased at the website through PayPal. It will be fun to have the company. It is a niche market so that provides some opportunities for some creativity. Should be a lot of fun.

Just returned from a week in Minnesota. We picked Dalton up from his month long hockey camp in Urbandale, Iowa (Des Moines area). Tim Knox, Dalton's hockey director and Roger Gill run this camp. It's the best. Below is a photo of Roger and Dalton on the bench at the Schwan's rink in Blaine, Minnesota. Dalton is a 93 birth year and played on our 91/92 team. He played well in the tournament as both a defenseman and forward. The team finished 2-2-1 in the tournament. They tied the last game 1-1. A win would have put them in the title game. The team they tied won the championship later that day.

The new project I am working on is YouthSportsCouncil.com. It is an entity that provides information helpful to the youth athlete, parents and organizations in the world of youth sports. The intent is to provide resources to help educate youth athletes and their families. We also provide information for coaches and volunteers of organizations in the world of youth sports. It will have a membership feature providing exclusive content.
Our goal is to keep politics, special agendas and self interests out of what we do. Our focus is on the youth athlete and providing resources with that in mind.
At this point it is just in its infancy. I have designed the logo and website. I am currently setting up the basic foundation for the company. I believe it will be a very positive resource for anyone involved in youth athletics. Check it out.
